Ciara was one of many celebs who walked the red carpet at Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls" premier lastnight in NYC. Ciara's style has definitely evolved ever since "Goodies" and her first two albums but lately she's taken a fully fledged high fashion route with her style. I'm all for a effortless minimal look, so as Ciara decided to leave the thigh high biker boots and fur for a simple little black dress, hot leopard print booties and a gorgeous pink lip I couldn't help but give her The Chic Notebook's "Look Of The Day".

I was bored by the MTV awards this year and I'm sure I am not the only one who felt like last year's MTV Music Awards were way better. As much as the performers bored me I must say I kept an eye out for the best dressed fashionistas and Ashley Greene, Katy Perry, Ciara and of course Lady Gaga were a few of my favorite. Going back to the actual show, I was rooting for Chelsea Handler to knock this gig out the park, I expected a star studded performance roaster and I would appreciate Taylor a little more if she had shoes on and gave me a different rhythm. boring. Ok, no shots at Taylor. MTV gets A+ for production with the magical stage set up and icy white carpets.

 

Ciara's wardrobe may be all "Givenchied" out but she always delivers; and as for Lady Gaga in Alexander Mc Queen? No words. Love!

Happy Easter Eve everyone! Hope you had a very blessed Good Friday. While everyone is about to face their holiday weekend in this glorious weather of NYC you cant be anything but cute, simple and chic in your ensembles. So maybe I was bias when it came to picking the "Look of The Day/Week" because of the great weather that we're having and most importantly because I'm leaving for my vacation in a few hours. If you've been following this blog for a while or even though you're a new comer my picks for Look of the Day is always very simple and unique. Theybf.com posted a picture of Ciara walking around LA with a really cute outfit which I love. Plaid button down with white tank, distressed boyfriend jeans paired with cute pair of hightop sandals and black studded pocket book adding edge to a casual ensemble. I really love those sandals! Ciara's fashion game is excalating, I'm not sure if its her new hair do; those soft curls and flowing extention pieces or her new toned perfect body. Whichever it is I am loving her choices thats why I've decided to give CiCi "Look of the Day". Chic Report APPROVED!

Throughout the year 2009 we've seen alot of trends but our most fashionable celebs has made the Leotard street chic. Yes, I'm talking about Lady Gaga and recently PCD's Melody Thorton actually parading the streets with the Leotard look. Beyonce wore her her bedazzled Theiry
Mugler piece on stage during her I Am tour while performing her Sasha Fierce hits. Likewise, Rihanna and Ciara followed this trend, but is it a hit or a miss? I absolutely love the leotard look. I think you need the confidence and the body to wear them. But please don't walk the streets wearing no pants. AND PLEASE wear stockings!
